The Celadon Group, Inc. was founded in 1985 and is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Group through its subsidiaries offers time sensitive transportation services between three countries namely: Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The company transports full trailer loads of freight from origin to destination without intermediate stops or handling.
The Celadon Group does business through two segments, Asset-Based and Asset-Light. The Asset-Based segment provides dry van carrier and rail services. The Asset-Light segment provides warehousing, brokerage, and less-than-load, intermodal, and logistics services.

The Celadon Group transports various types of freight compromising tobacco, consumer goods, automotive parts, home products and fixtures, lawn tractors, and assorted equipment, light bulbs, and various parts for engines. It broad range of truckload transportation services in the United States also includes long-haul, regional, and dedicated.
The corporation also owns Celadon Logistics Services, Inc. which provides freight brokerage services, less-than-truckload services and also supply chain management solutions including warehousing and dedicated fleet service.

The Celadon Group has around 4,876 employees with sales of over $700 million.
