Like In A Race Track

December 27, 2012

One thing that all of us do not like is waiting. This includes waiting in line to get gassed up. Well one company has its own approach to solve that. It wants you to get your fuel and anything else that you want from its convenience stores as fast as possible so you can be on your way. It tries to convey something like a race track were the drivers drive in get tires changed and fueled quickly and off they go.

RaceTrac, the convenience store and gas station company provides gasoline stations that have 20-24 fueling positions and 5,000 square foot convenience offering over 4,000 items. They want you to get in and get out in a flash. With over 4,000 items to offer in their convenience store though you might actually stay longer.

RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. operates more than 630 gas stations and convenience stores in around 12 south eastern states under the RaceTrac and Raceway names. The company was founded in 1934 in Missouri by Carl Bolch.  RaceTrac’s convenience stores offer fresh deli food and some fast-food. This is a privately held company owned by the Bloch family.
