Chuy’s Holdings: Mexican Inspired

Chuy’s Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiary, Chuys Opco, Inc. owns and operates restaurants under the Chuys name in Texas and 13 states in southeastern and midwestern United States. It is a full-service restaurant concept providing a distinct menu of authentic, high-quality Mexican food. It was founded in 1982 by Mike Young and John Zapp.
Chuy’s restaurants have a common décor, but each location is unique in format, offering an “unchained” look and feel, as expressed by their motto “If you’ve seen one Chuy’s, you’ve seen one Chuy’s!” Their restaurants have an upbeat, funky, eclectic, somewhat irreverent atmosphere while still maintaining a family friendly environment.
The firm commits to providing value for its customers through offering large portions of made-from-scratch, flavorful Tex Mex inspired dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients. It currently owns and operates over 55 Chuy’s restaurants in fourteen states.
